The Sister Jar

This past year we followed the adoption story of a friend of ours that lives in California. She had an awesome idea to include her oldest son in the process of saving money for the adoption, a brother jar. I loved it so much that when we decided to officially start our adoption, I found a jar for the boys to put money into....the sister jar. We have added money we found on the ground, spare change laying around the house and money from items we have sold. It's also a great reminder to pray for our daughter whenever we see it...which is quite often since it sits on the kitchen counter. :)

All three of our boys enjoy putting money into the sister jar, Reid and I are going to bring the jar to the bank soon to add to our adoption fund. :)
